Having grown up in Taiwan and being a third generation American expatriate in Asia, Jon Brantingham, Managing Director has had extensive experience in Asian business. He has spent over 30 years in the industrial manufacturing field, with specific focus in developing quality control systems, factory management, and Asian procurement strategy. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Jon manages from BMF’s main office in Shanghai, China, where he and his family have called home for over 10 years.
ENGINEERING
BMF’s engineering team is responsible for all communication between the customer and our factories. When we first receive a drawing the engineering team handles all needed design and modifications for mass manufacturing. Once tooling and samples have been approved, our engineers continue to monitor manufacturing process, frequently auditing the factory to ensure that problems are spotted before they reach our customers. Our team is comprised of specialists in the fields of mechanical engineering, metallurgy, casting processes, electrical engineering, and manufacturing systems. All product managers are fluent in both English and Mandarin providing our customer a direct link to the factory.
Our engineering team is headed by Feng, Xia. Originally from Shanghai, Feng grew up in Toronto, Canada. With a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto, he has been with BMF for over 8 years. He specializes in product development and quality control, ensuring that customer’s products are manufactured to specifications.
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
Our business and customer management team handles all supply chain and logistical issues. We provide assistance with shipping documentation, import duties, packaging and warehousing. The team is able to update our customers where their products are and provide any logistical support they might need. With the ability to ship door to door we provide all the benefits of low cost manufacturing without the associated risk and hassle.
Annie Yan heads our business department. Fluent in English and Mandarin, she has been with BMF for over 10 years. With an international business background, Annie has extensive experience in trade policy and supply chain management. In addition to supervising the business department, Annie specializes in customer management and coordinating multiple product lines. She is vital in handling our customers pricing, shipment, and logistical needs.
